Ingredients
Scale
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 ounce) package white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
1/2 cup sprinkles (for decorating)
Instructions
Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips.
Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. This usually takes 1 to 2 minutes total.
Stir in the vanilla extract and almond extract, if using. Mix until just combined.
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan.
Immediately sprinkle the top evenly with sprinkles.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
Lift the fudge out using the parchment paper overhang and cut into squares before serving.
Notes
Use good quality white chocolate chips for the best texture and flavor.
Do not overcook the chocolate when melting; stirring frequently prevents scorching.
You can substitute the sprinkles with colored sugar or crushed peppermint candies for different holiday looks.
This fudge sets up quickly, so work fast when spreading and decorating.
