Apple Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread is a delightful tear-and-share bread. It features pieces of cinnamon-sugar dough and apple bits layered in a loaf pan. This bread comes out sticky, gooey, and loaded with caramelized apple and spice, a blend of monkey bread and apple pie.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Add the biscuit pieces and diced apples, tossing to coat them evenly.
  4. Arrange the coated biscuit and apple pieces in the prepared loaf pan.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour this mixture over the biscuit and apple pieces in the loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use firm apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith for best results.
  • Do not overcrowd the loaf pan; the pieces need space to puff up.
  • Adjust cinnamon to your preference.
