Make these Blackened Chicken Caesar Wraps for a satisfying, portable lunch. You get spice from the blackened chicken, a great crunch, and creamy Caesar dressing all wrapped up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun or blackening seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (creamy style)
  • 1/4 cup croutons (for crunch)
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with the Cajun or blackening seasoning until fully coated.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the seasoned chicken until it is fully cooked through and has a nice blackened crust, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Warm the flour tortillas briefly in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  6. Lay out each warm tortilla. Spread a layer of Caesar dressing down the center.
  7. Layer the cooked blackened chicken, romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and a sprinkle of croutons onto the dressing.
  8. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom to create a wrap.
  9. Slice the wrap in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can prepare the chicken ahead of time to save time on busy days.
  • Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to the dressing for extra brightness.
  • For extra flavor, lightly toast the croutons in the skillet after removing the chicken.
