- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 cups chopped iceberg or romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup chopped tomato
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
- For Sauce: 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- For Sauce: 2 tablespoons ketchup
- For Sauce: 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- For Sauce: 1 teaspoon pickle relish
- Combine ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix lightly.
- Form the meat mixture into four equal-sized patties.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until cooked through.
- During the last minute of cooking, place one slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- While the patties cook, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish in a small bowl to make the sauce.
- Divide the chopped lettuce among four serving bowls.
- Place one cooked cheeseburger patty on top of the lettuce in each bowl.
- Top each bowl with chopped tomato, red onion, and pickle slices.
- Drizzle the prepared sauce over the toppings and meat. Serve immediately.
