Ingredients
Scale
2 Naan breads (about 6-8 inches each)
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup pizza sauce or tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Your favorite toppings (e.g., pepperoni, sliced mushrooms, bell peppers)
Optional: Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, and salt. Stir well.
Place the naan breads on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the melted garlic butter mixture evenly over the entire surface of both naan breads.
Spread the pizza sauce over the buttered naan, leaving a small border for the crust.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
Add your desired toppings over the cheese.
Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the naan edges are crisp.
Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh basil, if using. Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
Use high-quality naan for the best texture; thicker naan works well.
For extra crunch, toast the naan lightly before adding sauce and toppings.
Feel free to substitute the butter with olive oil if you prefer.
