Ingredients
Scale
1 Baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 large Honeycrisp Apple, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Caramel Sauce
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Pinch of Salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until the bread is lightly golden and crisp. Remove from the oven.
In a small bowl, gently toss the thinly sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt. This keeps the apples looking fresh.
Arrange the seasoned apple slices neatly over the toasted baguette rounds.
Drizzle generously with the caramel sauce over the apples.
Serve immediately and share the warmth.
Notes
You can use any firm, crisp apple variety you prefer.
For an extra layer of flavor, sprinkle toasted pecans or walnuts over the caramel before serving.
If you want a slightly softer base, you can skip the toasting step and serve on fresh bread.
