Ingredients
Scale
3 lbs red and green seedless grapes
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Instructions
Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add the sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until the dressing is completely smooth and well combined.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the grapes. Gently fold the dressing into the grapes until all grapes are evenly coated.
Cover the bowl and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Just before serving, combine the chopped pecans and brown sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the chilled salad.
Serve cold.
Notes
For the best texture, ensure the grapes are completely dry before mixing them with the dressing.
You can prepare the grape and cream cheese mixture one day ahead, but wait to add the pecan topping until right before serving so it stays crunchy.
Use a mix of red and green grapes for visual appeal.
