Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 ounces white chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 cup crushed candy canes
1 cup crushed pretzels
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Stir in the peppermint extract.
Spread the melted semi-sweet chocolate evenly over the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle half of the crushed pretzels and half of the crushed candy canes over the chocolate.
Let the semi-sweet chocolate layer set until firm, about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Melt the white chocolate chips in a separate heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
Spread the melted white chocolate evenly over the set semi-sweet chocolate layer.
Immediately sprinkle the remaining crushed pretzels and crushed candy canes over the white chocolate.
Allow the bark to set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator until firm.
Once firm, break the bark into pieces.
Notes
For a stronger peppermint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint oil to the chocolate.
You can use milk chocolate or dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet.
Ensure the chocolate is completely set before breaking into pieces.
