Ingredients
Scale
1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together. This is your dry coating.
In a separate small bowl, melt the butter.
Dip each biscuit piece first into the melted butter, coating all sides.
Next, roll the buttered biscuit piece thoroughly in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully covered.
Place the coated biscuit pieces close together in the prepared baking pan.
In a very small bowl, mix the melted butter (if any remains) with the brown sugar. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the biscuit pieces in the pan.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Let the bites cool in the pan for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
For a slightly sticky glaze, you can drizzle a simple powdered sugar glaze (1 cup powdered sugar mixed with 2 tablespoons milk) over the warm bites after they come out of the oven.
If you prefer a pull-apart style, arrange the pieces slightly further apart before baking.
You can use air fryer for smaller batches; cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 to 8 minutes, checking frequently.
