Make a creamy, restaurant-style Garlic Parmesan Dip at home that tastes just like the sauce served with pizza crusts and breadsticks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Add the melted butter to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried parsley, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until the dip is uniform and creamy.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve cold or at room temperature with pizza crusts or breadsticks.

Notes

  • For a stronger garlic flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of fresh minced garlic, but reduce the refrigeration time slightly.
  • If you prefer a thinner consistency, add 1 teaspoon of milk or water until you reach your desired texture.
  • Use high-quality, finely grated Parmesan cheese for the best texture.
