Ingredients
Scale
6 cups Cranberry Juice (100% juice preferred)
2 cups Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer
1 cup Strong Brewed Sage Tea, cooled
1/2 cup Fresh Lime Juice
1/4 cup Maple Syrup (adjust to taste)
1 Fresh Orange, thinly sliced
Fresh Cranberries, for garnish
Fresh Sage Sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
Brew the sage tea using 1 tablespoon of dried sage leaves steeped in 1 cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Strain and let it cool completely.
In a large punch bowl, combine the cranberry juice, cooled sage tea, fresh lime juice, and maple syrup. Stir well.
Gently stir in the ginger ale or ginger beer just before serving to keep the fizz.
Add the thin orange slices to the punch bowl.
Garnish the punch with fresh cranberries and sage sprigs floating on top.
Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice.
Notes
For a stronger sage flavor, steep the tea for a few extra minutes.
Taste the mixture before adding the ginger ale; you may need less or more maple syrup depending on your cranberry juice tartness.
You can freeze fresh cranberries ahead of time to use as attractive ice cubes.
