Creamy Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine combines tender chicken with a rich, flavorful cowboy butter sauce and linguine for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 pound linguine
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in parsley, smoked paprika, chili powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for another minute.
  4. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the sauce and chicken. Toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken in a little olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper before cooking.
  • Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your preferred spice level.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese melts better and provides a richer flavor.
