Ingredients
Scale
4 (1 inch thick) boneless pork chops
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
Pat the pork chops completely dry using paper towels. This step helps achieve crispiness.
In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Rub this seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
Lightly brush the pork chops with olive oil. Place the chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
Air fry for 10 minutes. Flip the pork chops.
Continue to air fry for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooking time depends on thickness.
While the chops finish cooking, prepare the garlic butter. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the chopped parsley and thyme leaves.
Once the pork chops are cooked, immediately transfer them to a plate. Spoon the warm garlic butter mixture generously over the top of each chop.
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the chops with 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour mixed with the spices before oiling.
If you use thinner chops (about 1/2 inch), reduce the cooking time by 2-3 minutes per side.
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature for accuracy; 145 degrees Fahrenheit is the safe minimum for pork.
