Make this simple, flavorful Baked Caesar Chicken for a quick weeknight dinner. Juicy chicken breasts are coated in a creamy Caesar and Parmesan sauce, baked until golden, and deliver comfort food flavor with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for crispness)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps the sauce adhere better. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Pour the Caesar mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, making sure they are well coated.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the coated chicken. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve this easy weeknight chicken immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can lightly pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before coating.
  • If you want a richer topping, add 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese along with the Parmesan and breadcrumbs.
  • This dish pairs well with pasta tossed in a light butter sauce or a side of roasted asparagus for a complete meal.
