Make a quick, creamy, and healthier Caesar dressing using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise or eggs. This recipe delivers classic flavor with added protein.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon anchovy paste (optional, for authentic flavor)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and anchovy paste (if using) in a small bowl.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth.
  3. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
  5. If the dressing is too thick, add water one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Cover and chill for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, substitute the Greek yogurt with plain unsweetened soy or almond yogurt and use a vegan Worcestershire sauce. Omit the Parmesan or use a vegan substitute.
  • This dressing pairs well with romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, or as a dip for vegetables.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
