Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, gently combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs bake, whisk together the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic in a small saucepan.
  6. Heat the sauce over medium heat until it simmers and thickens slightly, about 3 minutes.
  7. Remove the meatballs from the oven. Place them in a large bowl.
  8. Pour the warm glaze over the meatballs and toss gently until they are fully coated.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use pre-cooked frozen meatballs to save time. Adjust baking time accordingly.
  • Adjust the Sriracha amount to control the heat level for your preference.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions before serving for extra color.
