Make a fast fruit pizza using store-bought sugar cookie dough and a simple cream cheese frosting base, topped with fresh fruit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16.5 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 cups mixed fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Press the entire tube of sugar cookie dough evenly onto an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan or a large baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Let the cookie crust cool completely on the pan.
  4. While the crust cools, prepare the frosting: Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk together in a medium bowl until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled sugar cookie crust.
  6. Arrange the mixed fresh fruit decoratively over the frosting layer.
  7. Slice and serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For mini fruit pizzas, use pre-cut sugar cookie dough rounds or drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet and bake until set, then frost and top individually.
  • If you want a thicker frosting, reduce the milk to 2 tablespoons.
  • Cut the fruit into uniform sizes for easier slicing and a neater appearance.
