Make quick, juicy Garlic Butter Chicken Bites for an indulgent and fast dinner. These flavorful pieces sear perfectly in rich garlic butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the cut chicken pieces evenly with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken to the hot skillet in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid crowding.
  4. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan to create a simple sauce. Let it simmer briefly, about 1 minute.
  7. Return the cooked chicken bites to the skillet. Toss gently to coat them thoroughly in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving immediately.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra moisture and flavor.
  • For a little kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
  • This dish pairs well with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
