  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, white wine or broth, and lemon juice.
  4. Place the seasoned shrimp in a baking dish.
  5. Pour the butter-garlic mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  6. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if using.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle generously with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can swap the wine for broth if you prefer not to use alcohol.
  • For extra richness, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese during the last two minutes of baking.
  • Serve immediately with crusty bread to soak up the extra sauce.
