Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (13.8 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a Bundt pan or 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the biscuit quarters to the butter mixture. Toss gently until all the pieces are evenly coated.
  5. If using cheese, sprinkle half of the mozzarella over the coated biscuits and toss lightly again.
  6. Arrange the coated biscuit pieces randomly into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy pulling the pieces apart.

Notes

  • You can substitute fresh herbs for dried if you prefer a stronger fresh flavor.
  • For an extra savory touch, add 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese with the mozzarella.
  • If you do not have a Bundt pan, a standard 9×5 inch loaf pan works too.
