Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, gently combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
Roll the mixture into uniform, small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. You should get about 18-20 meatballs.
Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush them lightly with olive oil.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and they are lightly browned.
Serve immediately with your favorite sauce or as is.
Notes
For extra moisture, you can add 1 tablespoon of milk or water to the meatball mixture.
If you prefer a saucier meatball, brown them in a skillet before finishing them in simmering sauce.
Use lean or extra-lean ground turkey for lower fat content.
