Make quick, elegant Holiday Cranberry Brie Bites. These appetizers offer a perfect sweet-tart flavor balance with creamy brie, perfect for stress-free entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 wheel (8 ounces) brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pecans (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate the dough into individual triangles.
  3. Cut each triangle in half horizontally to create two smaller rectangles.
  4. Place one cube of brie cheese near the wide end of each dough rectangle.
  5. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the brie.
  6. Roll the dough up tightly from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges well.
  7. Place the rolled bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  10. Top with chopped pecans, if using, before serving warm.

Notes

  • Firmly sealing the dough prevents the melted cheese from leaking out during baking.
  • You can substitute puff pastry for crescent rolls for a flakier texture.
  • Assemble these bites just before baking for the best results.
