Scale
2 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat your oven to its lowest setting, around 170°F (75°C).
Combine the mixed berries and water in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the berries break down, about 5-7 minutes.
Mash the berries with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
Stir in the honey or maple syrup (if using) and lemon juice.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Pour the berry mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it thinly and evenly.
Bake for 3-4 hours, or until the fruit leather is no longer sticky to the touch.
Let it cool completely on the baking sheet.
Once cool, carefully peel the fruit leather off the parchment paper.
Cut into strips to create your fruit roll-ups.
Notes
You can use any combination of fruits you like.
Ensure the fruit leather is completely dry before cutting to prevent sticking.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
