Ingredients
Chicken Thighs (bone-in, skin-on or boneless, skinless)
Honey
Dijon Mustard
Yellow Mustard
Apple Cider Vinegar
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Salt
Black Pepper
Olive Oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season all sides with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder to create the glaze.
Drizzle the chicken thighs lightly with olive oil.
Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush about half of the honey mustard glaze generously over the chicken thighs.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze.
Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the glaze is caramelized.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For crispier skin, broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
This recipe works well with boneless, skinless thighs, but you may need to reduce the final cooking time slightly.
Adjust the mustard-to-honey ratio to match your preferred level of tanginess.
