- 2 shots espresso (or 1/2 cup strong cold brew concentrate)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup hot water
- Ice cubes
- Combine the honey and hot water in a small bowl. Stir until the honey is completely dissolved to create a simple syrup. Set aside.
- Brew the espresso shots or prepare the cold brew concentrate. Allow it to cool slightly if necessary.
- In a glass, pour the honey syrup mixture.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the almond milk over the ice.
- Slowly pour the cooled espresso or cold brew concentrate over the milk mixture.
- Stir gently to combine all layers.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, increase the honey syrup amount to 3 tablespoons.
- If you prefer a colder, more integrated drink, you can blend the almond milk, honey syrup, and espresso briefly before pouring over ice.
- Use vanilla-flavored almond milk for an added layer of flavor.
