Make a rich, creamy, and satisfying shake that fits your ketogenic diet using chocolate and peanut butter flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons natural unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop (about 30g) keto-friendly vanilla or chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil or heavy cream (for extra fat)
  • 10-12 drops liquid stevia or monk fruit sweetener (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Place the almond milk, peanut butter, cocoa powder, protein powder, ice cubes, MCT oil or heavy cream, and sweetener into a high-speed blender.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  3. Taste the shake and add more sweetener if desired, then blend for a few more seconds.
  4. Pour the shake into a glass immediately and serve.

Notes

  • For a thicker shake, reduce the almond milk slightly or add 1/4 cup of frozen avocado chunks instead of some ice.
  • If you do not have protein powder, substitute with 1/4 cup of full-fat cream cheese, softened, for creaminess and fat content.
  • Use unsweetened cocoa powder to keep the carb count low.
