Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
Notes
For pan-seared salmon, sear skin-side down in a hot, oiled skillet for 4 minutes, flip, then add the garlic butter sauce and cook for another 3-5 minutes until done.
To keep the salmon moist, do not overcook it. Check for doneness early.
Serve this salmon with steamed broccoli or asparagus tossed in olive oil for a complete keto meal.
