Ingredients
Scale
2 Earl Grey tea bags
1 teaspoon dried culinary lavender buds
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup milk (or your favorite milk alternative)
1-2 teaspoons sugar or sweetener (adjust to taste)
Optional: A drop of vanilla extract
Instructions
Steep the Earl Grey tea bags and lavender buds in the boiling water for 5 minutes. This allows the flavors to fully infuse.
Remove the tea bags and strain the lavender buds from the steeped tea. Discard the solids.
Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot and slightly frothy, or microwave until hot. Do not let it boil.
If you like, whisk in the sugar or sweetener until dissolved.
Pour the hot, sweetened milk into your brewed tea concentrate.
If you have a frother, froth the mixture slightly for a latte texture.
Add a drop of vanilla extract if using.
Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy your beautiful latte.
Notes
Use high-quality Earl Grey tea for the best flavor profile.
Adjust the amount of lavender to your preference; too much can make the drink taste soapy.
This recipe works well with oat milk for extra creaminess.
