- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (optional)
- In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- If using, stir in chopped nuts or seeds and dried fruit.
- Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into an 8×8 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
- Cut into bars and enjoy.
Notes
- For a firmer bar, you can add a tablespoon of melted coconut oil.
