Make creamy, sweet peach ice cream without an ice cream maker. This easy no-churn recipe uses whipped cream, condensed milk, and fresh peaches for a delightful summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream, cold
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, for tossing with peaches)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for tossing with peaches)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced peaches with granulated sugar and lemon juice, if using. Stir gently and set aside to macerate for 10-15 minutes. This step enhances peach flavor and prevents ice crystals.
  2. In a separate large, chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overmix.
  3. Pour the cold sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract into a medium bowl. Stir to combine.
  4. Gently fold about one-third of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture. This lightens the mixture.
  5. Add the remaining whipped cream to the condensed milk mixture and fold gently until just combined. Do not overmix, or the ice cream will lose its airy texture.
  6. Drain any excess liquid from the macerated peaches. Gently fold the peaches into the ice cream base.
  7. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container (a loaf pan works well). Cover tightly with plastic wrap or a lid.
  8. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm.
  9. Scoop and serve your homemade no-churn peach ice cream.

Notes

  • For best results, make sure your heavy cream and condensed milk are very cold before starting.
  • You can adjust the amount of sugar with the peaches based on their sweetness.
  • For a smoother texture, you can lightly mash some of the peaches before folding them in.
  • Store leftover ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
