Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels are bite-sized swirls of pizza perfection. They feature dough layered with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni, then rolled, sliced, and baked. These fun, flavorful pinwheels are great for parties or lunchboxes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely diced pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough or pizza dough on the prepared baking sheet. If using crescent roll dough, press seams together to form a solid rectangle.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Distribute the diced pepperoni over the cheese.
  6. Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log.
  7. Use a sharp knife to cut the log into 1-inch thick slices.
  8. Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  9. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dried oregano.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
