Make these Sriracha Honey Roasted Almonds for a snack that perfectly balances sweet honey and spicy sriracha. They are easy to prepare and incredibly addictive.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha sauce, salt, and garlic powder until well combined.
  3. Add the almonds to the bowl. Toss them gently until every almond is evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
  4. Spread the coated almonds in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the nuts are fragrant and toasted. Watch them closely to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the almonds cool completely on the baking sheet. They will crisp up as they cool.
  7. Store cooled almonds in an airtight container.

Notes

  • You control the heat; add more sriracha for extra spice.
  • Taste the sauce before coating the nuts to adjust sweetness or heat.
  • If the coating hardens too much while cooling, a quick 1-minute warm-up in the oven can soften it slightly.
