1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1/4 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1 teaspoon maple syrup (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened (optional, for extra richness)
Instructions
In a jar or container, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
If using, mix in the softened cream cheese until mostly smooth.
Stir in half of the chopped strawberries.
Seal the container and shake well to mix all ingredients.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
In the morning, stir the mixture. If it is too thick, add a splash more milk.
Top with the remaining strawberries before serving.
