Ingredients
Scale
12 oz white chocolate chips
8 oz dark or milk chocolate chips
1 cup fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
Instructions
Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, letting the paper overhang the sides for easy removal.
Prepare the strawberries: Slice them thinly. Pat the slices very dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This prevents the chocolate from seizing.
Melt the white chocolate: Place the white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until completely smooth. Do not overheat.
Spread the melted white chocolate evenly into the prepared pan.
Arrange the dried strawberry slices over the white chocolate layer. Press them down slightly.
Melt the dark or milk chocolate: Repeat the melting process with the second type of chocolate.
Drizzle or swirl the melted dark chocolate over the strawberries and white chocolate layer. Use a knife or skewer to create a marbled effect if desired.
Chill the bark: Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is completely firm.
Remove the bark from the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Break or cut the bark into irregular pieces.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
Ensure strawberries are completely dry before adding them to the chocolate; moisture causes the chocolate to become stiff and grainy.
Store the finished bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
